Getting Pregnant after IUD removal

This is one of my first posts so bare with me if there is another one out there already. I got my Marina IUD removed Jan 31st, I started bleeding right after for about three days and we started TTC after that was over. On the 17th i started having some light spotting that got worse and today it feels like a full AF.
I did some research and thought it might be implantation bleeding because i was not expecting another AF until around the first. But this seems to be more than implantation bleeding, which i did have with both my kids.
I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me how long it took them to get back to normal after having the IUD removed because im trying to chart so i know when I'm Ovulating, but having two AF's within one month really throws charting off... please help i guess i really just want some advise and to know what other went through and how long it took to get pregnant after IUD removal. This is probably our last baby and I'm so ready! Please any advise would be appreciated.

I am 99% sure that AF has paid a visit. Our bodies can go a little nutso after birth control... almost all of my friends who had their IUD removed had some irregularity for a couple of months. One friend in particular had a super, super heavy, clotty period that lasted for forever. After that, she was back to normal. She conceived 3 months after removal.

I know it sucks, but try to be patient! It'll be tough to time at first without knowing exactly what's going on with your body. OPKs and temping might help. Otherwise, just hang in there and let your body recover.

I agree. I thing this is af. That happened to me also after removal last July. I got pregnant after 3 months but my angel grew wings in Dec. Now I'm trying again. It takes a few cycles as was said to get back to normal. My advice is to try and enjoy ttc and your body will sooner or later get back to normal.

I had my Mirena removed on the 24th January. Didnt have bleeding until the 12th Feb. It was really heavy with huge clots but only lasted 4 days. I'm now on CD 8.
We started BDing immediately even though not ovulated yet. Not charting temp but using OPK's. The lines are nearly positive already!! Hoping they dont show positive til the weekend.

I had my mirena removed and the next month I was pregnant so it can happen very quickly ! My specialist told me to expect things to be a bit out of whack for around 6 months after removal.

I had my merina removed dec 12 2011 had bleeding for 5 days.......had a 7 days of af in jan and 4 days of af in feb.......no pregnancy yet but got my first positive opk this morning on cd 17 good luck

I had my IUD for just over a year and had it removed last August. I didn’t have AF at all while I had it. I got AF in full force 2 weeks after I had it removed. I’ve had regular cycles ever since, usually 27-30 day cycles. This is our 6th cycle TTC #1 and I hope it’s our month! We’ve been trying what seems to be like everything! Got pre-seed this month, and OPK’s – trying the sperm meets egg method.

A girlfriend of mine had her’s removed at the end of September and had some irregular bleeding and was pregnant by the end of October, so everyone’s different. I’m not sure if she was extra fertile as she already has one child.

Thank you every one for your posts! I really appreciate it. When i had my first IUD removed we got pregnant right away and i was hoping the same thing this time. I just hate the waiting game but i feel better knowing were all in the together My "AF" stopped already so i dont know what to think. It was only spotting for two days and a little heaver for about half a day so i really do not know what to think but again all we can do it wait!
