I'm due on 26th jan and have planned a homebirth. I have just ordered some of my 'kit' online which included some essential
Oil and a diffuser, a shower curtain and a torch! I'm actually getting really excited now and looking forward to the arrival of our daughter! Is there anything else you would advise getting in for the birth? I know about the towels, a warm outfit for the baby to wear and obviously to have snacks and entertainment to hand. Anything else?
I have the usual apprehensions and as the day gets closer I am getting a wee bit nervous. It's natural I suppose as I've come this far and hoping nothing goes wrong at this late stage. No real point to this thread other than to share my excitement really!!

=D I was due yesterday! I cant wait! ^^

How exciting! Are you planning a water birth? I found the relief was pretty amazing. I'd also have 2 or 3 shower curtains, a bunch of pads, and something in which you can birth the placenta (I used a mixing bowl lol). Your midwife should also give you a list!
Best of luck! :D
