So, I put an offer into for this house for 65k... And I put in a monthly income of about 3500 income Child Support, my full-time job and my second part-time job. I have 7k to put down and i qualify for a 4500 dollar grant to also put down. I also have great credit (720).
Today, I get a phone call from a man who takes the information to get you approved for a mortgage. Tells me that I CANT use my second job as income(500 every two weeks) because I haven't been there for two years and WONT use my child support (also 500 every 2 weeks) because it's not court mandated but voluntary(trust me, he can pay it- he makes about 5k a month). WTF!!
My first job, I've been there for 2 years, and I get paid about 700 every two weeks. That's the ONLY income that counts which significantly hurts me because I have a 334 a month car payment for two more years.
and because of this there are saying that I may not qualify for a loan?!
This makes no sense!!!
The reason I'm getting a home is because my home (under his name, not mine and were not married) is about to go in foreclosure (it was a 1500 dollar a month mortgage, ridiclous!) so i can't have his name on it or they won't approve it with his credit.
their saying i need a co-signer, I have no one. The funny thing is, if this don't through, we have a back up plan on a house that is 1000k a month.. but i can't get a mortgage that's 500 a month?!!?!??!
I'm just loosing it.
