Please don't read on if you are easily offended!!!!

Ok, bear with me. I feel a bit stupid asking this and it will probably seem like a really silly thing to say, but.... when I've felt my cervix it seems to slant slightly to the side and the opening also seems to be to the side. Sorry for the graphic image, but when DH is 'inside' how do I know that it isn't going in the wrong place?! Could the 'soup' be released into the opposite direction - and would it matter? Would it kind of end up in the right place anyway or should I be getting DH to try to aim for the opening? As I write this I know it sounds completely ridiculous, but I think I'm slowly losing my mind and am clutching at straws!!!

:shy:

he he that just made me giggle - not because its a stupid question but I just been for some fertility swabs and she said cervix was to the side, I think it moves up and down and all over the place though because for my smear the month before she had trouble reaching it at all, this time it was lowish and to the side. I think during ovulation it should be high and soft so in prime postion for the end of his willy.

xx

He he, I love the things we talk about when TTC!! Thanks for replying! I thought the question might be so stupid that no one would reply! I swear in my 'normal life' I am not this dim, and don't worry myself and silly things, but when TTC I take EVERYTHING into account, its really making me craaaaazzzzzyyyyy!!! x

me too chick me too! ttc definately has made me a little loopy! I think I lose brain cells with every AF

xx

there's plenty of soup to cover your cervix, you can raise your legs if you want i tried this and more soup fell out  so i lie on my back half hour then each side half hour each

Ok thanks! I usually put a pillow under my bum after BDing but was concerned that the 'soup' might be sitting in a pool beyond the cervix. Could do with putting a mini camera on DH's whatsit to see what happens inside!! xx

Hi Peekaboo,
When I went for my last smear about 2 mnths ago, the nurse said my cervix was to one side. She said that its nothing to worry about and it moves about (she even did me a little picture to explain!!) So dont worry too much about it hun xx

Hey peekaboo

I've got a retroverted uterus and my cervix is to the side, always have problems with smear tests. FS told me as long as the soup if top noch they will get to were they need to be as when the soup comes out it comes out with such force it will make its way in before you know it. I'm sure they are getting in there just fine :hugs:

That would be great if we could do that!
