Hey ladies- I have noticed lately that I am really struggling to walk up stairs. I have two stories I go up every day at work and I am just panting and out of breath. I feel like I am going to faint some of the times. Is this normal for this early? I am only 15 weeks and I never experienced this in my first pregnancy. :flower:

Me too. I'm pretty sure it's blood pressure dropping, because I had the same thing in my first pregnancy and had really low blood pressure throughout. I did actually faint twice. Be careful, especially if you're on stairs.

Thanks hun. I have had lower than normal bp this pregnancy too. I guess that could very well be part of my problems.

Yes, it's normal unfortunately. Your blood volume increases significantly from early pregnancy so it takes so much more work for your heart to bump it around your body even when you are reasonably fit. I'm definitely winded going up my one flight of stairs!

It could be worth getting your iron checked. My friend just got an anemia diagnosis after getting out of breath easily and having other symptoms like feeling winded, racing heart. Anemia is quite common in pregnancy so could be worth a look.
