So I'm 16 weeks and 3 days pregnant.. Since finding out I'm pregnant, I've lost nearly a stone.
Before I got pregnant, I had baaaad eating habits, I would eat breakfast, skip lunch and have dinner if you're lucky.
So once I found out I was pregnant, I made a point of eating 3 meals a day, with snacks in between. I've been stopped from working, so I'm sitting on my bum all day now, and still losing weight!
I understand a lot of girls on here have lost weight, but is it normal? How much is normal? Should I be worried?

It depends, if baby is still growing fine all should be well. Your doctor WILL let you know if they're concerned about the weight loss. Usually if you aren't real thin to start with though and baby is a healthy size its not a big concern. I'm not sure how much a stone is, but I am at 20 weeks and have lost 10 pounds.

I have no idea what baby is measuring at the moment.. I haven't had my 16 week appointment yet, and my midwife can't see me until I'm 19 weeks!!! :dohh:

I've lost 20lbs so far and I'm only 14+6w! I am overweight though, so I've got weight to spare and the babies are growing just fine. Like PP said, your MW will tell you if she's concerned but if you're eating healthier and more regularly, I wouldn't think you'd have much to worry about.

Well, my guess is that since you're trying to have better habits, your body is functioning better and your metabolism is being normalized, which would definitely promote weight loss (to a certain extent, of course). If you don't eat often enough, your body goes into "starvation mode" and so next time you eat, it holds onto the calories more. Anyway, of course consult your dr or mw, but it sounds like your body is just responding well. :)

Sry I can't comment on how much is normal...a lot of that had to do with your weight before getting pregnant and what not. Praying your bubs is doing great :)

I lost 1.5 stone through morning sickness and loss of appetite. That was at 7 weeks, I'm not 25 + 3 and have put hardly any back on. Baby is fine and Midwife isn't bothered, so I guess it isn't a problem. It upsets me a bit though because I was really happy the size I was. X

I am 8lbs lighter than I was at the beginning of the pregnancy. It is 100% safe to loose weight in pregnancy as long as you eat a healthy balanced diet. If like me you were over weir before falling pregnant, it is very beneficial but if you have any concerns, you should discuss it with your midwife or doc xx

Hey the SAME EXACT thing is happening to me. I go to the doctors next Friday so I'm going to ask about it then. Just try and eat as much as you can !

I haven't actually had the midwife appointment since I posted this!
But I have one today at 3pm..

I am still worried, I've had no morning sickness at all. Well nausea but no actual sickness.

I've just come back from a 2 week holiday of eating constant crap.. (not brilliant I know, but part of me thought the extra calories might help me put on weight!!) And I'm still below the weight I was at my booking appointment =(

Sorry I'm not sure how much a stone is! I work in kilos! But I too had bad habits before pregnancy, but I'm still of a thin build, not overweight. I started eating more regularly once finding out but I cannot tolerate much food, I think I shrunk my tummy haha. But I've lost 6 kilograms in the past 2 months and I'm still losing. Doctor isn't happy but my baby is fine, I've already had 4 scans as doc was worried, but not a problem! x
