girl name dilemma!

Sorry, I'm not a fan. I'm imagining Arsenal style jokes, and it is very 90s, and it also makes me think of "Made in Chelsea". I honestly have no idea what that is but I'm guessing it's not the classiest programme on TV.

On top of all that, my next thoughts involve other London boroughs...North End and such. Not exactly Paris or Milan!

Nice! ...but what do you think about name as Aria ?

Not keen sorry, it was quite a 'chav' name around my area some years back, now there are quite a few Chelsea's in their late teens/early twenties around here xx

I think if you & OH both agree on a name - that's half the battle! Plus you've always loved it - so why not use it? You should of course name your baby something you LOVE! That being said - I don't personally like the name - I've never known anyone named Chelsea (I'm in the US). The only Chelsea I have ever heard of was Chelsea Clinton and the poor thing was such a homely kid, that I think of the name as being homely too. Just my opinion though!

My midwife had a daughter after I had mine and named her Chelsea. She's beautiful and the name is lovely.

I like the name Chelsea. If you like it, I think you should use it and not worry about if it is vintage cool.

Not sure where you're from, but in my neck of the woods it's still a pretty popular (and pretty!) choice. Reminds me of Kelsey, Kacey, and those kinds of names. Bring back the 90's I say! Don't worry about others' opinions.

I like it. If you like it and dh likes it, then don't over-analyse it or you'll put yourself off!

I love your son's name, Landon, by the way. It's very modern & trendy. Are there any other names you like that are more along those lines to compliment his name?

Tbh I think the fact that Landon sounds like the way a cockney would say London makes Chelsea less of an option too.

I like the name :) there were 2-3 chelsea in my high school growing up. Don't be concerned about the vintage part. If we have a girl there is 85% chance that she will be named Mae after her great grandmother.
