I found this article after doing some research on some stomach pains I've been having. I thought all of the other PCOS sufferers out there might be interested. Maybe it's the answer to all of our problems?!?!?!:happydance:

I'm going to try it out,...I'm tired of feeling like crap all the time:cry:

hmm thats quite interesting, although i do not has PCOS, i do have coeliac disease. and it was misdiagnosed for 15 years....

im sure i once read that undiagnosed coeliac disease could cause infertility, its something that ive tried to put to the back of my mind......

but maybe it can , might have to do some more reading lol...

I ate gluten-free all day yesterday and I'm happy to say I didn't get the stomach pains:happydance:

Also, I was thinking the only time in my life my periods were regular was when I was on atkins, which is naturally gluten free. Well I'm vegetarian now so I'll be doing this veggie style.

I'm just so happy, I feel like I've found the answer to all of my problems!

The doctor can blood test you to see if you have a gluten intolerance.
It is actually quite hard to diagnose, as my FIL took about 4 yrs to diagnose.
Blood tests were negative, skins tests negative the only way they found out was by Endoscopy and biopsies.

At my next doctors appointment I'm going to ask about it, but for now as long as I'm feeling better I'll avoid it.:D

Hi acv, I was aware of this as I have been told that i'm intolerant to wheat, dairy and many other things. I did go through a stage when I tryed to eliminate these things from my diet and yes, I did feel better for it. I have read so many books on this subject as I'm trained as an alternative therapist. It is do hard though cos it takes alot of time, preparation and money as everywhere we seem to go there are fast foods and convenient foods all containing hidden wheat, diary etc.

I really hope that keep it up and become and inspiration to me. My husband is veggie and most of our meals therefore have to be so if you have any interesting tips, recipes etc I would be interested!
