I've been tracking my cycles for nearly two years, and they have always been 26 days without fail. As soon as we decided to begin trying, my cycle started to go wonky.

Last month, I spotted for a week before my period, which only lasted two days (I tested just in case - BFN). This month, my cycle was 21 days and I spotted for four days prior. Ugh.

Did anyone else notice this sort of thing when they first started trying?

When I first started trying I didn't have a period for 9 months out of the blue. Then a period. Then 10 more months. Did you get off of birth control recently?

Really? That must have been aggravating!

I haven't been on birth control for years - six or seven at least. I have been under quite a lot of stress at work though, so maybe it's that...? Who knows.

Most likely. Honestly I used to be skeptical of stress being able to mess with my body and my cycles, but boy was I wrong.
