I'm meeting tmw with my managers to discuss my return to work.
I am definately going to take a year off so am due back at the end of july.

I work as a systems analyst and am in the uk

Now I have a few q's which I am going to look into but thought i'd see if anyone here already knows...

1) Do i have an legal rights to be able to work part time? (doing the same job)

2) How viable is my request to work from home a few days a week? (again are there any legal rights around this?)

any advice is appreciated

Thanks

sorry I can't answer your questions but I just want to wish you good luck with going back to work.

there is no law saying your employer must grant you part time hours but they have to give it serious consideration and a viable reason if your request is rejected. Not sure on the second question.
