Going for medical management tomorrow

Hi WW1.

Hoping that everything is going ok for you today.

Take Care

Thanks for all your kind messages.

I'm home and in one piece so that's something! I'm very crampy (more so than I have been all day tbh). I'm bleeding but the pessaries and tablets didn't seem to make a massive amount of difference. I was bleeding from the first part on Monday and it didn't get much heavier - I did try: I led on the hospital bed, walked around, jumped up and down and still it didn't all come out!

The nurse said it would probably pass over the next few days. If it doesn't, I need to give them a call and I'll have a scan a week on Monday. If it does, I need to do a pg test in 3 weeks to check for :bfn: - 3 weeks! That's ages away!!

So now it's just sit and wait :hissy:

Am a bit frustrated but at least I was in less pain than I'd anticipated. I've also had my anti-d injection (negative blood group) so that is one less thing to worry about.

All in all a pretty rubbish day but it could have been worse!

Hiya, glad you made it through ok, did you get a private room? the nurses are all lovely aren't they? mine was an earth mother type lady with red hair did you see her?

I had the three week wait to test too, it took that long for me to get a negative, I did test three times before the three weeks were up and got faint positives each time (serves me right for having not an ounce of patience!) :hugs:Hope you pass everything soon :hugs:

I did get a private room and the nurses were fabulous. The red-headed nurse came for the evening shift so I only saw her for a bit.

So far I have been extremely impressed with the treatment I've received: from my GP through to today's staff it has made a very difficult time slightly easier. Despite what the media says, I have lots of praise for the NHS!

I'll take heed on your comment about the pg test - I'm very impatient but will try not to take one until the alloted time (11th June - I've already worked that out!)

WW1 Im glad that everything went as well as can be expected.

Make sure you look after yourself

Hi how you feeling today?

I agree on the NHS everyone I dealt with was very understanding and caring, the waiting times for appt's are a bit rubbish though!

Glad it went ok and you are back home now. I know what you mean about being impatient to get that negative. I'm due to test next thursday to make sure everything has gone but it seems so long away.

I'm doing alright today. Decided to stay off work and glad I have as I've felt like I've been hit by a truck!

I'm really looking forward to the weekend - 3 days with my OH where we're going to try to do something fun (I've forgotten what fun was!) I think we may try to go to the seaside - nothing like a bit of sea air to cheer you up!

I'm thinking sea air, fish and chips, a walk along the beach and an ice-cream (with sand attached probably!) :happydance: - let's hope the weather is good as I don't fancy any of that if it's rubbish!
