going nuts please help

my lo has started being really fussy. all he does is cry eat n sleep!

he sleeps, wakes up and immediatly cries for food. i feed him after struggling for a while (i try cuddles, checking he's not too hot/cold, change him, burp him) and nothing works except feeding him, but he fights it really bad! so it'll take like an hour plus
then he'll fall asleep for an hour to an hour n a half

repeat.

he's never happily awake. ever. always crying!!

what can i do? im going spare!

The only thing I can think of is it could be a growth spurt. I remember my LO going through a stage where all he would do is eat, sleep and cry. It should last for a couple of days (mine lasted for week!)

I'd like to see responses to this.....my 3 week old is the same :/ wake - scream until i stick a boob in his mouth, fall asleep on boob, sleep for a while, wake, scream until he gets boob again *head-desk-head-desk*

It does really sound like a growth spurt, both mine have been through these at varioustines and behaved exactly like this. If you are breastfeeding they will feed all the tine to get your milk supply up. It is truly exhausting but it will usually settle down after a few days.
