Or even just going into town for a few hours with LO. What do you do with your bottles whilst out. How many bottles do you bring? Do you make the bottles up before leaving the house? If so what about the 2 hour rule if not stored in a thermal bag or anything?

I tend to make a bottle or two up and put them in tommee tippee thermal bags to keep them warm. Or make one bottle up and put in thermal bag and take an empty sterilised bottle and a pre-made carton and would tip that into the bottle if needed.

An empty sterilized bottle and a carton of formula works best for me... I have a little pair of scissors on my keyring to get the cartons open!

Otherwise I will take a cold bottle from the fridge and put it in a cool bag.

For both options I take a flask of hot water to warm the milk up.

Couple of empty sterilised bottles in plastic sandwich bags (to stop any drops of steriliser fluid making everything in the bag soggy, and to chuck the used bottles in to stop any drops of milk leaking on the return trip), formula cartons and I have a pair of scissors in one of the zip pockets to open them. Probably not as economical as using a powder dispenser and flask of hot water to make up on the go - but I'm running out of space in my bag now!

we do the same as you, either two made up in thermal bagsor one with a carton and empty bottle.

we do also have a thing with three compartments to store messured out formula and then take boiled water in a flask with empty bottles if we'll be out all day so wecan make them up.
