Good diet plan for GD?

I recently found out that there is a good chance I have GD. I get tested for it in a week, but the doctor says it will most likely come back that I have it.
So what kind of foods do I eat?
Before I got pregnant, I always had low sugar, so I've never had a meal without some kind of sugar.

I have had GD for several months now and as long as they catch it quick its can be easily handled. Its the carb intake that you need to watch out for and its quite surprising how many carbs are in certain foods. Things like white bread for me are a nono, I have to keep an eye on the size of potatoes I have but most meat is fine. I found this website a godsend:
