hey all been looking around and thinking might have it in a town hall....

to have it in one near my MIL will cost

to have it near were i live would cost us £64.96 this includes £15.00 alcohol licence. this is to hire the hall from 5pm -2am....

im not sure... we get the hall free as were paying per head if that makes sense.. its gonna be 35 euro per person and that pays for everyones dinner, a few free drinks, the hall and the private bar extension

but it cost more to bring our own alcohol

looking at another venue near were i live and they are looking for £64.96 which includes the alcohol licence.... i think that sounds a little better??? doesn't include anything other than hall hire...

also when they say to midnight do they really mean only to mid night.. because alot of weddings go on till 2-4 am
i hope you find someone that suites you :)

still got time lol.... the 2nd venue seems bit better as you pay per hour so

We paid £25 per hour for our local town hall type room. Had it from 4pm to midnight. And £150 for the bar/bar staff.

not to bad hun, its cheaper during the day at mine and then after 11pm it goes to £12 odd, if you book more than 8hours at a time then u get £20 off, you need to pay £15 alcohol licence and i am considering getting them to do the bar, but not sure how i do that guess when i contact them should be able to do that.

We paid £150 for ours from 5.00pm until Midnight :)

Have I been ripped off? lol.. I'm not having it at a town hall, I'm having it at a banqueting suite.. and we paid £1400!?! - This includes flowers too.. its from 7pm-midnight

wow i wouldn't even consider that. i have found somewhere else which is in between but is nice its a house/hotel/art house.....

will see if i can get pictures.

cool... Hope you find the one u want! x
