Got my bfp today 6 weeks after MMC, feeling confused :)

Hiii ladies!

Went for my follow up scan after my MMC and as I was having it done they said they could see a 4mm pregnancy sac, so they did a test (as you can see on my piccy) it came up positive.

I know this might sound silly but Im really finding hard to believe Ive got pregnant so quickly... I keep thinking they've got it all wrong at the hospital and ive still got some HCG left in my body Also scared because Ive got no symptoms what so ever... sorry for the rant, its been quite a day! xx

Oh golly, what a rollercoaster for you! Sending buckets of sticky dust for this little miracle It's common to get pregnant easily after a loss, as your progesterone levels are just that bit higher than usual.

And as for the disbelief...I'm nearly 17 weeks and still don't believe it!

Thank You Huni ive wrote down the days weve BD and then the date 3 weeks from the BD date that i can test haha OH thinks ive gone nuts!!!wellll might be TMI but lol....we BD 6 days after MC and luckily on the 5th and 6th i had ovary pain!!!!and we BD'd on the 4th, 6th, 8 and 9th then the 14th and 15th. going by my last AF in december i should have OV'd on the 6th of feb but if i go from the the MC bleed i should have OV'd on the 15th of feb how lucky is that!!!!!!we BD by chance on then days then i work out my OV dates and its the dates we BD haha sorry 4 the rant but hopefully i'll be lucky enough 4 a sticky bean!!!!!!! hope ur ok chick xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Try not to worry too much about the lack of symptoms. I didn't have any at your stage and worried as well and now I have morning sickness all day every day.

Hey hunny,

Congrats on your bfp. Normally, I would say there could be a chance it is left over HCG but if they have seen bubs on the screen then well done babes because it's a new little bubs.

We were in very similar situations. I had my MMC at 10 weeks on 5th November, my medical ERPC on 11th and got my BFP on 22nd December. Hardly any breathing room at all! I am pleased, but it has been hard. I find myself grieving whilst trying to be positive about a new pregnancy, which is stressful, as well as the obvious fears. Though really, it has gone quick ish so far, only 6 days until my NT and hopefully good news.

On the bad days, don't forget to reach out. We are all here to help with your fears and hopefully share your good days. Just remember this is a different pregnancy and it will have a different outcome

hey, it is possible, i had a MC the 22nd nov and bleed for a week and then got my bfp on xmas day! fingers crossed for you xxxx

ps oh it is different to date though as we dont have a lmp? i thought i was a week ahead then i was but its hard to calculate when u ovulated. xx

Hi Kaylz, I have done exactly the same with the phone calender, noting everytime we , lol, I had a miscarriage 2weeks ago at 6 weeks pregnant so we started trying 4days after as physically i felt fine, so fingers crossed i get my Bfp soon too.
