Got my next appointment confirmed

Well girls had my letter through for my next FS appointment. This one is the significant one in my mind as I will have had all the tests done since we last met and we have been TTC since Sept 2006. So it will be 2 years and 9 months TTC at our next appointment!!! God has it really been that long ?? and where the hell has the time gone ??

So I have had all together:

US Pelvic Exam
Various smears/examinations/swabs
2 months on Clomid @ 50mg
2 months on Clomid @ 100mg with 2 more months to go.
HSG - Clear.
x 2 lots of 21 day bloods done last year and this year - Confirmed ovulation
x Day 1 bloods - Normal

DH - SA - Normal

I am on 12DPO today and expect the witch today/tomorrow. Not PG pretty sure as I have no signs what so ever and dont feel any different. Tested yesterday for the hell of it and a stark white BFN. Why do I bother ?

So consultant appointment booked for 11th May. Worked out we have 2 cycles left until appointment and then I guess next steps is IVF ? Crumbs, strange feeling cause you always think when you begin TTC that you wouldn't ever need that. Odd how things turn out.

I am guessing that we wont be put forward for IUI as I am already 35 ? Anyone know whether that would be an option whilst we wait for IVF appointment ?

Well that's my update, kinda feeling positive as we have another date to work towards. Feeling a bit rubbish though knowing is just around the corner.

Good news on appointment, the time will fly by from now until then.

Not too sure on them offering you IUI before IVF hun, worth asking maybe?

You never no , AF might not turn up!!!!!

Thanks hun, Yes I will ask about IUI it may be an option but I am not sure, I think I read somewhere that were won't have IUI or perhaps the doctor told me we would go straight onto IVF.......

I hope the time does fly by, We just want our lives to start up again. Feel like a hamster on a wheel most days just existing and going around in circles and not actually getting anywhere. I am sure everyone on here can relate to that one.

Life seems kinda pointless sometimes when your on the LTTC road. It's never ending.... ............WHOA need to go and find my PMA again cause I can feel it slipping away it's the thought of the arriving. I know she will find me she always does.
