I had my first round of the NT scan last week and left feeling pretty good with a measurement of 1.1mm. *

I got my blood work/combined results today and am kind of upset/worrried. *

My DS risk is 1/790
My TS risk is 1/2,800

I know the Dr said they are well within normal range but I'm only 23 and thought I would have a muck lower risk.*

DH would freak out if I told him cause he knows it's out of 10,000.

Feeling disappointed*

I don't have any of the links but based on things I have read here and online the measurement is a really good sign. I know a lot of things can influence the accuracy of the blood test even though i can't remember what they are right now. My measurement was 1.0mm and my odds were 1/691 or something like that. I am going to be 40 when I deliver though but I went scouring online and found some references that discussed how a low measurement of 1.0 was a strong indicator that things were fine even if the bloods came back iffy. Try not to worry too much, those odds are still not considered high risk. ...I know, easier said than done :dohh:

Those are excellent odds!!

1/790 = 0.12% chance
1/2800 = 0.035% chance

That's absolutely fine, you're low risk there. Don't worry :)

I got a 1/95 chance of ds and my baby was just fine (I was 23)

I got a 1:20 risk of ds and my baby doesnt have it. I am 27. I would have given anything to have your odds!
