Got smiley but cheapy negative???

So I've been taking the cheapest all cycle and they never have a second line then I started getting a slight second line, I was also doing the digitals alongside and it always had a second line but then 2 days ago I got a smiley in the morning but the lines weren't same darkness and the cheapy although a second line was definitely negative.. and now both are back to neg. Thing is I had lots of ewcm and now.today cramping and aches down low so I'm wondering was the smiley correct? So confused!
