graco snugrides

i know for sure that i am getting either a snugride or a snugride 32
but can someone please tell me the big differences?
like, is the 32 actually safer, or does it just hold them longer?
there doesn't seem to be anywhere to give me a direct answer.

I don't know the difference, but I have a Grace Snugride and it's VERY heavy and hard to carry.

I'm pretty sure it's just able to hold them for slightly longer, it holds the same safety standards.

I have a snugride, it came with my travel system. Just holding it at home and everything, it's lovely. The actual seat isn't horrifically heavy.

Are you going to get a stroller as well? I'd really recommend a travel system. They end up being cheaper then purchasing a stroller and car seat separately.

ETA: Venusrockstar, really? It's not heavy at all without a baby in it! I've had a very easy time maneuvering it and everything.

Snugride 32 holds them upto 32 pounds, the ones that come w/ the travel system are Sungrides 22 and hold them up to 22 pounds, obviously, lol.

I would also recommend the travel system though, it will save money in the long run, the strollers recline all the way back so that if you will be out for a long time and dont want them stuck in the carseat they can just lay down in the stroller, and the stroller will hold them for a long time too! Yeah..this is the one I have...it's very bulky (both the car seat and stroller are heavy). I workout too and can lift pretty heavy weights (bicep curl 45 lbs) and I find this heavy.

Huh. That pattern isn't even available in the US!

I wonder if maybe since you're in Canada the safety requirements are different, and therefore maybe yours is a little heavier?

& WOAH! The prices on the Canadian Babies R Us site are so much higher. My travel system was 219 and its 350 there :-O.

I love my Graco travel system
Mine is not heavy and I walk every where so its super nice
but It was a lot of money I got it on sale 350$ it was 450 not on sale!
But I think graco is the way to go.
and all the car seats have to be just as safe.
