My daughters health visitor mentioned to me earlier that there could be a grant that I can get to help either pay for a car or help pay the insurance and tax (she couldn't remember which) I was wondering if anyone else knows about it or has received a grant like this

Only thing that does that is the mobility component of DLA

^ lozzys right. Most funding I've been introduced to won't help with cars/driving

My HV told me about something called a family fund which gives families with disabled children money (say £500) to help with driving lessons etc anything that will make life easier for the child. I'm in Wales so not sure if this is just a Welsh assembly thing not a UK Government thing.

Family Fund no longer pay for driving lessons anymore. They used to, but they have stopped it. Family Fund is available in the UK.

Oh thats a shame. I have not used them for that but they did used too x
