After nearly a year of TTC with no luck and all tests coming back fine (except the last 2 post coital tests which revealed no sperm at al!), my OB/GYN decided to have my husband do another SA. Well, it came back HORRIBLE, but it had been normal 6 months prior....so we go to a urologist to have my DH checked out....get this...my DH had his testosterone level drawn 7 months ago and it was on the low end of normal and his SA was on the low end of normal so his GP gave him a testosterone cream to up the level which would in turn up sperm count...UNLESS THE CREAM MAKES THE LEVEL TOO HIGH, which happened to my DH...when the testosterone level is too high, sperm prod nearly stops.....good part is...he stops the cream, the sperm come back! Praying for his levels to go back to normal (according to urologist within the next 4-6 wks). If the next SA still has low sperm count, the urologist will start my DH on clomid, apparently it works for men, too!
