The past two days I have been having a burp* that taste like rotten eggs........I know I know...how effin disgusting!!!!!! whats going on girls!!!!!!!!

I've heard thats related to being lactose intolerant? but I could be wrong

I just googled that and it doesnt sound like me....no other symptoms involved...thank you though...Ill just keep guessing lol

I've had that before!! not while I was pregnant though!

I had the rotten egg burps for days and yup was sooo gross.. then after that few days I got a bit of diarrhea (TMI i know!).. and I remember it took a while to get totally out of my system (maybe a week)

My theory at the time was it was a tiny case of food poisoning and the food just curdled and rotted in my stomach - just before I got it I ate a cheese & ham sandwich that hadnt been refrigerated and it was summer, smart I know

Anyways I could be totally wrong and maybe yours is different but just wanted to share my theory lol

My nieces had this (eggy burps, then diarrhea), im sure my sister said it was a little bug they picked up?

I've gotten this and so has my dh. It's Helicobacter pylori. It's a parasite actually. It can also be called "Sulfer burps". Sometimes it's accompanied by vomiting or diarrhea.

Yep, ^^^^^ is right. I learnt about it on my childcare course many moons ago.

I suffer from 'eggy' burps every time I have a bug. It's how it starts

No it wouldn't hurt the baby or effect your pregnancy. I had it in this pregnancy and the baby is ok. It just sucks!

i get this if i eat eggs... my doc told me its called billis??? never had any other symptoms though. hope it passes soon xxx

it can also be caused by gerd from heartburn or just bad acid reflux
