Since u first said 'Jace' i have mentioned it to my OH for if we ever had a boy and trust me, my OH is very blokey bloke- and he really liked it!!

I think it makes me think of a strong guy...particularly Jason Statham pops into my head, Jace is just so cool!!

Tbh he was alright with Jace till he told his mates the name and they all apparently were laughing and saying hell be a puff then .. which upset me alot even though its my baby not theres but i care about other peoples opinions i just want my boy to grow up not getting called cause of his first name lol .. I told him he could pick the middle name if he wanted but he said i can pick the name so i did and he ends up moaning! and he wants his last name aswell but im agenst that cause we have no boys in our family and i want to carry my dads name on if that makes sense lol and FOB's got another brother anyway! Im abit funny with it all cause hell have a totally different last name to me and i talked about double barrelled but to me it sounds abit daft lol

hmm the double-barelled name is a bit of a mouthful id say...

go with your name hun, i think it would be harder for little kids to explain to their friends why mummy has a different name to them...especially if you are unsure about your and FOB future?

it can always be changed if circumstances dramatically changed between the two of you, but if you are going to be his sole carer then i would stick with your name.

I vote Jace all the way...its actually now my fav boys name and is my number 1 name if i have a boy next!!

Me and FOB just abit iffy have been since half way through my pregnancy but i feel bad cause hes been there for me throughout and were really close still i dont know whats going to happen when babys here we just said we would see what happened specially as ill be seeing more of him aswell. But yeah i was thinking stick to my last name cause in a way i dont plan on getting married anyway just not something i want to do lol but his mum and dad arent married either but have 3 kids so i guess it wont be that bad.

I think if i knew another boy with that name i would feel better about it but i dont know anyone with the name lol! Hmm well i think im going to take a list of names to hospital and pick one but i think itll end up being Jace cause itll be the first that comes to me when i look at him !

Ive had alot of negative feedback on my little mans name but at the end of the day i love it and know it will suit him so i dont care. Hes my baby!!
You should go with ur choice, like said before u carried him for 9 months and will bring him up!
Fobs friends are idiots saying he will be a puff! :/ Dread to think what they would call their little ones haha.

Jace Jack is a really cool name!! Go for it Becy!

I really love Shay & Kenzee! And Jace Jack sounds cool together... & i def think very masculine! Remind me why you can't use Jack as the first name? I think from one of your threads i remember you had a reason.... but it seems "Jack" is the one name you've been sure of all along!

Oh & by the way... i think you should give your baby your last name. I broke up with my son's father when i was pregnant too & i am so greatful i decided to give him my last name. I would hate to fill out paperwork (insurance, doctor's office, school, etc) and for us to have different last names. Plus i'm proud to carry on my family name.

I spelt Leighon like that because i wanted it different not just normal like Leon lol
And I dont want a common name and Jack is really really common im only using Jack as a middle name because it means alot to my dad cause his dad was called it and when he grew up everyone called my dad Jack even though that not his real name and as weve had no boys in the family it never got to be carried on.

Yeah i agree id only give him FOB's last name if we was like in a secure realtionship or married but were not and we wont get married cause i just dont want to lol. Even though i dont like my last name people always say it wrong or spell it wrong lol but itll be alright i spose lol..

Im still stuck with a name all that comes to my head is Jace all the time but i keep thinking Jace Jack is abit boring lol as in there both 4 letter names and same letters except 'e' and 'k' i think itll proberley sound better if the first name was longer but then im back to square one i dont know why i dont like anything

Why not add another name in such as Jace Leighon Jack?
My LO is having two middle names because of a similar problem (ie first middle and last names would have begun with 'T'!)
