Had a row with a nurse today - went and had my day 21 prog test and told the nurse that this was in fact 7dpo, not day 21 as I ov on day 21. She told me that I basically invalidated the test as they do the prog test when the levels are high. I asked what was the point in that as the test is supposed to tell them my prog levels 7dpo to ensure healthy implantation ability and she toldme very rudely that I was wrong and I don't know what I'm talking about - and she was one of the nurses for my consultant! She wouldn't allow me to speak to the consultant either. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I'm so mad!!!!!

OMG! Some people are so ignorant! She was half right, it's suppose to be taken when program is high...but moron...they're high at 7 DPO!!!! I hats stupid people! Next time just make the appointment for when you know is the right time, lie if you have too, and don't them it's actually cd28 (7dpo).

she sounds awfull!!

i think lots of people that work in fertility areas know nothing, i had an argument with a gynochologist (fair enough not a fs but you'd think they would know something) she said "all women have a 14 day LP" i said ummm no mines 12-13 days... she said "no dear, everyones is 14 days" i smiled and left, waste of spece that woman.

Sometimes I wonder if some nurses know biology, I fel down some stairs and hurt my elbow and they needed to do an xray, so as standard they asked if there was any possibility I could be pregnant. I said yes as I had taken clomid that cycle and was TTCing. They then wanted me to take a pregnancy test and wouldn't listen to me when I tried to tell them that I was only 7 or 9 days past ov (can't remember which it was now) and would get a BFN and therefore could they not just treat me as if this had happened and just put an protective apron on me? Oh the uproar this caused and they could not understand that I would not get an accurate result! Drove me mad.

To me it's one thing to be unknowledgable on a subject and be willing to listen to people who may know more then you, and it a completely other thing to be unknowledgable on a subject and insist that you know better! Some people are just ignorant and there's no amount of education that can help them.
