Grunting toddler

My dd started grunting (like when they're doing a poo) on Saturday and has been doing it on and off since. She has also had a temp but they don't necessarily coincide. I've taken her to the doctors today and she's had a full check, I just need to get a urine sample. Other than the temp and grunting she is acting normally! Has anyone else's toddler done this and what caused it?

Just in case anyone has the same thing my son has started doing it now and having a fever so I assume it's part of a viral thing.

My dd likes to grunt and growl. I've never noticed a fever or anything. Maybe she's just playing with her voice or she heard someone do it and decided to copy it......happens with dd all the time

This wasn't like a habit (though I did think that at first), she clearly couldn't help it. Thankfully it's gone now and she's better!
