does anyone find their LO grunts after feeds. Mine only does it after night feeds. I have picked him back up and tried winding him, but he doesn't seem to have any. He doesn't cry with it but looks very uncomfortable as h wriggles and arches his back. He settles after an hour tho and seems to be asleep too. HV said he may just be too full, i don't think so as he is 11 lbs and drinks 4oz in day and 3 or 3 1/2 in the night.

anyone else experienced this or know how to eleviate it??

My son used to grunt allot after his feeds but it was because he was drinking to fast therefor getting full but with air :) try burping him allot it should help .

Mine grunts a lot when he is satiated and content. It's not wind and he is all dozy and happy. Maybe it's a different kind of grunt!

Mine can make grunt noises but it is usually before latching and sometimes halfway through :)

She also does NOT wind well. She prefers to fall asleep on my shoulder, I'll lay her down and then she wakes ups, gets stroppy and I'll pick her back up and THEN she burps.

I keep telling her that she'd be happier if she'd burp first but does she listen..... nope!!

I think she takes after me :)

Yeah I have exactly this problem. I think if he didn't have this he'd sleep so much better. I wonder why they do it? It must just be wind but I'm like you, nothing comes up. Hmmmmm......

Yes, Poppy has always done this. In fact, we call her Gunter the Grunter!

She normally does it when she wakes up and it always build up to a cry. I don't know what causes it but I asked the HV and she said "Does she go blue when she's doind it?" I mean, I ask you? Does she not think we would have sought help sooner if she was turning blue?! :dohh:
