This is a really great article in the Guardian about how important it is for women to hear positive birth stories and a new website that's linking expecting mums up with new mothers to have a 'positive birth buddy' they can talk to as they prepare for birth.

I think it's a fantastic idea. What do you think?

And here's the website that the article is about if anyone is interested in checking it out: https://tellmeagoodbirthstory.com/

I thought it might be great to share around because I'm sure many of you have wonderful natural and home birthing experiences that it would be wonderful to share on there.

I totally agree :)

I had a very very bad 1st (hospital birth).

If it wasn't for all the empowering stories I've read here on natural birthing and in Ina May's book, I would have likely gone for the C-section which was offered. It's stories like that which help us realize that no 1 labour is the same and that it's always worth a try for a better experience.
