Gum boil? Advice

I had a root canal about 3 months ago a few weeks back a spot appeared next to it all spectic so I went to the dentist and got anti biotics for 5 days tge spot burst when I brushed my teeth and drained alot it's reduced in size loads but still keeps popping a little bit.
I've been doing hot water salt wash like the dentist said I've no pain the tooth is just a little sensitive no swelling can eat on it
Do I need more antibiotics? I'm scared he's going to say it needs pulled out? Has any one had one pulled does it hurt? Is it as bad as a root canal? How long does it take? Xx can't you tell I hate the dentist! Lol

go back and get more antibiotics.if uve not got any pain u shouldnt need to get the tooth out
