Gutted after GP APPT but he's about to feel my WRATH!

I went to GP yesterday and he said although I've worked flat out for the last few months loosing 3 stone, I have to loose more before he will refer me to FS to get Clomid after18 months of Metformin.....

I went home last night, sobbed my heart away but now.....

He is about to feel my Wrath!

I've just managed to get a cancellation to go back to him on his last appointment of the day at 6pm and heaven help him cos he is not leaving until my referal is done and if that means locking him in the room and watching xfactor on saturday on my phone then so be it! lol!!!!!!!

I've worked bloody hard loosing weight, sticking to the clomid, started temping etc etc and feel I deserve a little more help.

Rant over! just felt the urge to spread the LTTTC power!

Go for it hun!! You tell him you're not happy and really lay it on thick. I'm sure you won't need to try too hard, but make sure to shed a few tears that should help your case. Let us know how you get on when you get back - and if we don't here from you tonight we'll record some of the good tv programmes for you!!

3 stone is a lot of weight to lose, well done girl!
He should definitely be more helpful, did he at least give you a goal to work towards? When will it be enough for him to give you a referral? I hate the way doctors blame friggin' anything on weight. Losing 3 stone should have been plenty to help you along your way, and he should have referred you already.

I am generally quite a formiddable character and if I dont get my way tonight after putting all that effort in, he is gonna get it big time!

Yesterday after my appointment I felt so pissed off, deflated and just totally gutted.

My OH said " why are you putting up with that, knowing what your like when it comes to anything else, you stand your ground and are not phased and don't budge..."

And that's been whirling round my head all day!

So about an hour ago I phoned to get another appointment, asked when the next one was and was told he had a cancellation for this evening. When I told the receptionist my name she was like "but you were here yesterday weren't you...."

i simply said "YUP but I never got the actions I KNOW I DESERVE" and she said well 6pm it is then!

I'm, just sick of being set a goal, reaching it and then the goal posts being moved, well no more!

He has kids, he's got a picture on his desk and I already know what I will as well...

"you have 3 beautiful children who you must dearly love, why can't I have the opportunity to put a similar picture on my desk" thought that might pull at his heart strings if the tears don't! lol!

Wow firstly congratulations on loosing 3 stone, that is wonderful. Well u will be there now, i hope he gives u what u deserve easily and u will be back on to tell us very soon. What he has done is very unfair tho. Hope u come back with good news. XXX

this is just totally unacceptable, the amount of weight in that amount of time he shud show a littl bit more respect !! didnt know if u said u were wanting something other than clomid...or clomid? hope u get treated better next time and yeh i wud defo say that bout his "perfect family pic!" good luck hun keep us posted

I have success!

an appointment in just under 12 weeks to see FS!

He has even provided me with a prescription for OPK's to chart results alongside BBT etc etc as he said that is the first thing they will ask for and if I go in there with tha info, they can't send me away without agreeing a next action.

He told me I was a BALL BREAKER! lol! but respected the fact that I made another appointment and was able to articulate how stressed, pissed off and down right disgusted the way I was sent away WITHOUT screaming and shouting. I was incredulous at the way I was treated in my first appt but managed to hold it together. At the end of my justification speach I picked up the picture of his kids and said "you have your family, please don't stop me starting mine!"

And after a few moments of silence he looked at said, you can have mine if you like, then laughed and went into his computer screen for referrals!
