I went to see a Gynecologist on Friday and dispite me telling her how much pain I'm in, how tired I am, a few other things, she straight away decided to test me for antibodies and genetic stuff but I feel it's an infection and that's being overlooked. Who do I speak to about it? Do I go back to the doctors or try and get hold of the Gynecologist? Or should I just wait until these tests come back? If it's an infection surely it needs to be found sooner rather than later?

Hiya hun

You know your body better than anyone, so i would go to your dr whilst your waiting for the gyny test results to come back and see what he suggests

Hope this helps

good luck :dust:

if it's infection it'll show in your white blood cells and gp's are more willing to listen to that type of complaints than gyn's are :)

Will they have tested my white blood cells or do I need to ask them to do it? x

ask them to have that included to be sure.
if i go to my gp, the red and white blood count is included, always.

but at my gyn's it's more specific hcg and hormones, unless you ask for other tests,
then they tick of that box too

Ooooh thanks :) Next time I see the Gyne I will definately tell her what I'd like to be tested for so atleast she can consider it if she hasn't x
