Had a 2nd scan dont think its good news....

Well I think I am going to miscarry again. I am about 6-7 weeks and I had my 2nd scan yesterday. They could see the fetal pole with baby measuring 4.6 mm but no heartbeat. She wants me back next week to check the progress; she said she wouldn’t expect to see a heartbeat until 6mm. At my 1st scan last week they saw a small flickering h/b. The doctor yesterday said that flicker could have been the uterus and not an h/b.

I am not convinced and preparing myself for the worst. How the hell can I wait a week on this, I am already driving myself crazy I am so upset. What do you think ladies??

i hope that u get good news. my friend had a scan at 6wks and there was no h/b but a couple of wks later it was there! keep strong

I just want to tell you a story that gives me hope every time I am scared: my mother's best friend had one daughter and the pregnancy was perfect- smooth sailing, etc.. with her other daughter, she was told it didnt have a heartbeat and that she would miscarry and that she should just go ahead and have a D&C. she refused. she said she wasnt going to do that since the baby was normal size for where she was at.. it took 4 scans over the period of 4 weeks to finally pick up a heartbeat, and when I went through my miscarriage she said to me "never give up hope." it was such an amazing story to hear that they couldnt even find a heartbeat in her daughter until 12 weeks!

Thanks ladies. I dont have any spotting or bleeding but my bbs are not as sore. The doctor did say i may miscarry but she needed a full week to compare the 2 scan pictures. I will keep praying. xo
