Had a scan today - need some advise please

Hi Ladies!

Wanted to say hi and see if any of you knew the answer to my question.

I have 2 boys - both clomid babies as i have pcos and endo. We have decided to try for 1 more to complete our family.

Stopped the pill late last year and am now back under the hosp as still having very irregular cycles. Had a scan today and the scan lasy said that my ovaries were "classic pcos" which was what i expected, but that i have a follicle that is 15mm wide and it could be a egg about to release if it gets to 20mm (apprently they grow 2mm every day). What i was wondering is is there any reason it would just disappear or will it def release in the next few days?

I have my clomid tabs ready and waiting to go.......

There's really no reason it wouldn't release. But, mine did not, so they gave me an HCG trigger injection to cause it to ovulate. You might ask your doctor if he can perscribe you a trigger so you can guarantee that that beautiful follie will ovulate.
