had hsg today

hey, had my hsg today, and everything was fine.

in a way im relieved, but in a sense im still longing for an answer.....

anyway, next cycle im going to do opks etc, really have hopes now i suppose as as far as we can see we should be able to concieve....

Hi Kirsty, congrats that your tubes were patent! I know hoe you feel though, when I had mine done about 3months ago although I was pleased I still though -why else could it be that I'm not pg yet!

Em, i also was nervous about it. TBH, it was sore. but as soon as everything was removed i was pain free. but everybodys different they said some people dont feel any discomfort....

thats exactly how i feel.... how the hell am i not preg?!?!?! lol its so frustrating!!!!

after my first consultation at gyne clinic, i was given appt in 9 days!!!!!

however machine broke so hosp cancelled, but still had it done within 17 days of first appt so that was brilliant!!

Review in 6 months time, where by that time we will have been ttc for 3 years. tbh, im feeling really positive. going to start ttc proper now (iykwim) and get opks etc.....

what would be the next step if we still havent got preg by march ( our next appt) coz i have read clomid etc is to stimulate ovulation, which i already am?

Hi Kristy - glad all was clear.
I too am having an HSG in October after arrives for the month. I was wondering what the next step would be too.
I am still waiting results of bloods etc to see if I am ovulating, but won't get those until 2nd consultant appt on 11th November, after HSG etc.
I just want some answers as to why I am not getting pg too
