Hairy belly???

Hey ladies I'm 19 wks before falling pg I maybe had a cpl of hairs on my tummy but my god I look like I'm turning into a bear can u wax ur tummy while pregnant? Xx

I had a thread on this last year. My stomach was just gross. I just kept shaving it,but realized that the hair just kept coming in thicker. I am now at the point where I shave every once in awhile, like right before my Dr.'s visit. I know a couple of ladies said they waxed, but I couldn't do it, just seems too painful.

I have this too, it's blonde so not as noticable but still ergh, i also noticed it on my face.... the joys, I have to say, I cant wait for my body and hormones to get back to normal!

yep - it has gradually got worse over the weeks and darker. The midwife has said it is normal for some of us and I am resisting doing anything with it though as it is supposed to go after birth (all to do with hormones). I have read that if you shave or wax it, it can stay after birth so thats why I am putting up with it. Also shaving can cause i togrow back thicker and waxing may give you in growing hairs.

well ladies luckily i am very fair and i hate to tell you but i still have my hairy tummy from my son so it doesnt always go away after birth.

Aw do u I hav random black hairs growing out nipples and the most body hair ever... At least my hair looks fab lol...x

Yeah the hair on my head is looking brilliant. I haven't shaved my legs in ages though so I'm a bit of a beast lol!!

lol! Isnt pregnancy glamourous?? You become as hairy as an ape, vomit all the time, discuss your poo or lack of it with your loved ones, your ankles swell like those belonging to an elephant, your appetite is that again of an elephant and to top it off you shit yourself during labour!! Whoo!!!!!!
The good thing is...it is all ultimately worth it!!

My belly has got hairy too, I started noticing it when I was 11 weeks and OH said that I'll be having a boy because of the extra hair, and he was right! I've plucked a couple of the worst offending hairs on my nipples and below my belly button and they haven't come back since, but I'd say leave them as they are because they're meant to fall out once baby is born.
I've also had to shave my existing shave-zones more regularly (my legs have never been this hairy), and I have noticed the odd dark hair coming in on my face, but again plucked and they haven't returned.
