I'm so happy I found this thread, I am not alone!!! I've been plucking the random long black hairs on my tummy for 4 weeks now: as pp said, pregnancy is so glamourous! When my husband spots them he rubs my tummy and calls me sasquatch, lol.

Oh, and I'm having a wee man so maybe there's truth in the rumours!

When I go for a brazilian wax I ask the lady to also wax around my belly button area, cause there are always a few stray hairs there. It's not so sore around the belly button area. I normally take 2 paracetamols before I go for a brazilian though cause that effing sore

I had a hairy belly with my last 2 babies and now this one, it's to keep your baby warmer in the colder weather, after you've had your baby it will all fall off xxx

forgot to add I'm having a boy too so this is interesting to read, but my belly was hairy just as bad with my daughter, I've had all my pregnancies over winter though I think the colder weather plays a part in it xx
