I have such a horrible cough and sore throat and just wondered if anyone has had Halls Soothers or just the square Halls lozenges and if so which ones?

I asked in Boots earlier on but the member of staff didn't seem too sure which didn't fill me with that much confidence. I just want something to help my throat.

I know some are safe after 12 weeks but I'm only almost 7 weeks right now.

From my experience I was told halls lozenges and lockets were fine. It was stronger ones like strepsils that shouldn't be taken

I was told they were ok in small quantities. So I tried to mainly use a more expensive kind that I found that were 99% honey so they were for sure safe.

When I had a cold I did that and drank a tonne of water , dr ended up giving me an inhaler as my cough would not go away on it's own.

I just decided to not bother and as annoying as the cough is, I'd rather just not risk it. Hopefully it will be gone soon. :)

See your gp hun he will tell you what is safe to take x
