are we ok to have them? I cant find anything on the packet saying to consult a dr and my throat feels like sandpaper when im not coughing and worse when i am...

I was wondering the same thing, I'm seeing the doctor later so will ask then.

xx

ooooh cool, lemme know asap!! i have a packet here staring at me asking to be eaten.

I will do, I'm desperate for something for this poxy cold.

Also wanted to know if effervescent vitamin c/zinc would be okay to take but again I'll ask later x

I've been using them as I couldn't see a warning on them. So I hope they are.

i was tempted to use this logic with bonjela - but apparently thats not safe so now i dont wanna chance it....

yh they are i was at hospital last week had a stinking cough and my consultant said i can have the throat sweets xx ive been eating jakemans cough sweets like they are going out of fashion x hope this helps guys x

Have done a bit of research on your behalf and they are FINE :happydance:

Someone on baby centre asked their pharmacist about soothers, who said they're fine.

PS Lockets also are safe in pregnancy, in fact they have the good sense to remember to state it on the label!! (Apparently)

Just to reiterate I also checked with my pharmacist and she said that both Halls Soothers and Lockets were fine to have.

Unfortunately Strepsils are a no-no which is a shame as they are my favourite when I am poorly.

Olbas Oil she said was good too, especially for steaming. Hope you feel better soon x
