I've reserved it whilst it's on offer but keep wondering if Evie will get bored with it

Has anybody got one and would you recommend :flower:

I dont have it but i think it looks a bit crap

Ruby would like it but it wouldn't hold her attention for long, it doesn't seem to have many bits to it, Ruby likes trainsets but that one looks a bit boring.

I got mine second hand, with a fair amount of extra track. It's something which Roo will play with for a bit, then go back to (if you know what I mean?). She gets a kick out of taking figures from other sets (like the animals from a Little People Farm we have) and making them "drive" the train. She also likes changing switches (?) so the train goes one way once and then another way. I have to admit that I get a bit sick of the "chuff chuff" noise when she has it on for more than about 5 minutes at a time

It's dead easy to dismantle and put away, so we tend to bring it out for a while, then put it away again when she stops using it. So far I'd say it's worth it, given that they are half price right now? But there are cheaper sets (like the Tesco and Ikea wooden ones) out there, if it's just a train that you're after :)

Well I got one for the boys - not sure if i did the right thing after reading this. Although they can get hours of 'fun' atm from anything - they just spend all their time snatching it back and forth between them!!!!

Aww ive got it for aiden as ne of christmas prezzies hope its not rubbish lol xx

I bought one and reading these reviews I'm pleased I did!

I looked into it but decided Ethan was a bit old for it. Many reviews are from parents of kids around 1. I think my LO would quickly get bored of just watching it go round and round and I decided to wait until nxt year and get a 'proper' wooden train set when he's ready.

Yeah, i think thats the same for us. Amelie is getting a brio starter kit which i plan to add to every year/for a treat and she can hand it down to her brother when shes too old and play with it together :)

i just brought it - i not set it up as its been put away for christmas - i dont think its worth full price but with the set and the station for £19 im happy with it :)

Same here, wouldnt have paid £38 for the train set + £16 for the station, but at £19 for the lot I felt it was a bargain not to be missed. Cant say whether LO likes it either, ours has been put away for christmas too.
