Has a cold and a party invite

Hi, my 2 yr old son as a cold and cough and bit of a temperature. He has been inited to a birthday party tomorrow 9another child from nursery). This will be his first party invite and I really wanted to take him. Should I or keep him away. He has still been at nursery this week.
I will also add that I have a cold.

I wouldn't keep him away just for a cold, they catch so many you would end up stuck in all the time! The temperature might make me stay home though, depends how high. I would wait and see how he is tomorrow, if he seems well in himself then go!

I'd take him if he only has a cold, but not if he's got a temparature as well.

agreed, the cold/cough wouldn't bother most mum's but a temperature for your lo would be my reason for missing the party. Hope your DS feels better soon.
