Has any one started a baby fund?

We haven't got a baby fund or future fund or anything, but next year OH finished his apprenticeship so putting money aside will become a little more realistic! I like the idea of buying one thing a week, I've bought a few things. I couldn't resist!
I'd like to save so I could have a longer maternity leave
