....guessed just from looking at you that you are pregnant?

I´m still very early on (5weeks and 4 days), so haven´t told anybody yet. Was planning on waiting for my next docs appt in 2 weeks before I said anything to friends etc.

Yet last night I was out with a friend at a leaving do, and she kept commenting on my eyes all the time - at first she just said my eye make up was nice, although it was the same as i usually do it. Then she said there´s something different about you, but I can´t work out what it is - I was sooo tired last night and couldn´t really be arsed going out anyway, so it wasn´t like I was jumping all over the place with a big cheesy grin on my face!!

Just as we were leaving the restaurant, she just blurted out "are you pregnant?" I was so gobsmacked, I just said yes!!!

Anyone else had that happen to them?

yes ppl just guessed on me too and we are not telling till month 4 ( its tradition)
i think its cos i looked so sick and pale!
it is annoying tho cos when ppl ask u , u dont want to say no if you are- but u also dont want any1 to know!

I have had one person ask me but problem being it was about a year ago & I wasnt (we had been ttc for over a year back then) I remember feeling really offended must of been having a fat day LOL

My friend was pregnant for three months without me noticing. I got a tad suspicious when she started to put on alot of weight and I could notice it around the face mostly but didn't want to bring it up. That is about the time she told me!

My sister always seems to know, she says I get a chubby pregnant face!!! Haven't seen her for a few weeks so will see

I haven't had anyone ask, though the day before I got my BFP I was chatting with my co-worker and she randomly made a comment about me being a good mom.

a lot of people on my postgrad course have been asking if anyone knows if I am or not but noone has asked me directly. I think it's because I'm always feeling really sick, one day am really hungry and the next am really not and because I've taken a couple of days off because I've been feeling really sick. I don't plan on telling anyone outright until I've had my first scan though!

I'd really hate to be asked outright and feel so sorry for those of you who have been!
