I am just curious if anyone has ever went and had a 15 week scan and was told boy later to find out it was a girl? I just went and had an elective gender scan and baby was in a difficult position so the tech poked around to try to get a view. She seems to think she got a clear enough shot (posted below) and that it is a boy. I have just heard so many stories that the parts aren't fully developed this early and sometimes girl parts are swollen. Does my picture look like 100% boy or do you think that there is a chance it could just be a swollen girl part???

I got told boy at 16 weeks then girl two times after at 18 and 20 weeks

Sorry i have serious baby brain totally replied a long story (below) but its about being told girl then it being a boy, so no i dont know anyone told boy then it ended up girl

I know of three friends who were told girl at earlier scans, one of them found out at the 20 week that it was in fact boy, the ither found out at 32 weeks, she had had the room panted punk and everything! Had it all redone in time for the boys birth and my kast friend found out after her traumatic birth, in fact she didnt even register it was a boy until an hour after the birth!

@capegirl7 Do you have a picture when you were told boy what it looked like? Do you think it looked anything like mine or does mine look 100% boy?

@celine thanks for the response. I actually know 1 person who was told boy had her gender reveal and everything later to find out it was in fact a girl. I personally haven't heard of it the other way around so good to know that it can happen the other way around.

Yes I have a pic I'll post when I get home!

Or if you go to my posts I've posted it on her a bunch under various threads and my own.

Thank you. Yours is more rounded bludge where my kinda comes to a "v"... In your opinion do u think mine really is a boy or do you think there is a possibility of girl?

I think you should get a rescan so you will know for sure!!! I can see where they would say boy but also a horrible picture that makes it look like it could go either way. You should defiantly ease your mind and get it redone. Make sure to update!! Sorry your going though this. I would be loosing my mind by now if I were in your shoes, already had the party and still not sure. Good luck. Were all here for you!

I had a gender scan at 16 weeks and was told a girl. And she was a girl :)
My scan had three lines and didnt look like yours.
Do you get a 20 week scan where you are? Maybe you can ask them to confirm?

I go back to my actual doctor the 27th so fingers crossed they will do a gender scan ( I will be 18 weeks and 4 days then). Hopefully it will be a clearer image and they wont have problems getting the shot like the technician at my elective ultrasound.

I think yours looks boy. Although not the best shot. Are you hoping for one or the other? Or just want to know?

Well this is my first baby so it really doesn't matter to me. My husband REALLY REALLY wants a boy first and I would like a girl eventually so I really don't care either way as long as it is healthy. I would like a boy and a girl don't matter order lol. I just hate to keep buying boy and find out later its a girl even though I would be happy either way just want to know for sure what I am having.

I really think why I'm having doubts is because baby was flipped on its stomach and the technician had a hard time getting it to move around and cooperate so I just keep thinking she didn't get a really good shot and was just kinda guessing since we did pay for the scan and obviously she didn't want to tell us she wasn't 100% sure.
