I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant I realise its to early to be in this section but I wanted to see if anyone else had a similar experience
With my 4th child I had an extremely quick labour almost pain free by this I mean I went for a check up at 39 weeks doc did a scan and was going to do a sweep I was due to be induced on my due date as he went to do the internal he asked if I had been getting any pain I said no just the normal as I had spd he then replied well your 4cms dilated (this was about 1:30pm) so I'm going to send you to labour ward as I was gbs+ so needed antibiotics anyway labour ward was just 2 minutes away so I got there and got checked again and was 6cms I got to 9cms with no pain as I was sitting I was saying to oh this isn't normal then at 3pm they checked me and I was 9 1/2 cms and I started getting pains and the pushing sensation baby was born at 3:20pm
So now I'm 32 weeks with number 5 (who feels like he could drop out at any minute) and I'm absolutely panic striken that I won't know if I go into labour until its to late to get my other kids looked after and get to the hospital in time to give birth again I'm gbs+ so will need iv antibiotics!!!
Has anyone else had a labour similar then had another baby after and if so was your next one the same???

. but i didnt make it t the hospital in time for the antibiotics and was GBS+. i asked my OB about it because it will probably happen again this time, she said that the risk of infection from GBS is lower with a short labour where baby spends less time in the birth canal and waters go just before delivery.
