I'm asking because with my DS I had a low supply (I won't go into too much detail, but let's leave it at "I tried everything to increase it" and he continued to lose weight despite near-constant feeding).
I'm expecting #2 soon and have really started to get anxious about bf'ing this time. I desperately want to EBF (with my DS we had to combi-feed by supplementing with formula until my supply cut off at 8 months) and I'm also taking longer maternity leave this time (will have 5 whole months with new LO instead of 3 I had previously with DS) so I'm hoping that not having to go back to work and pumping, etc, will help me on my EBF journey.
But I'm worried that since I had a low supply with my DS I might have the same issue again. Has anyone experienced supply issues with one baby, but not with another? I know all the 'tips' for increasing supply (which didn't help with my DS) but I will be using all of them if needed this time, and I'm also much more aware of how to gauge how LO is feeding, whether breasts are being emptied, pumping, etc to hopefully get off to a good/better start. But I'm secretly afraid that I'm just doomed to have a low supply.
Just looking for other success stories for encouragement I guess, as this has really been weighing on my mind!
Thanks ladies
