Hi has anyone tried Hipp organic good night milk? Its a thicker formula for 6 months plus to try and get them through night without waking for milk! Im so desperate George is 8 months and sometimes wakes twice for milk during the night still. Anyone have any experiences? Thank you x

We've used it and Sam loves it! He's always been a good sleeper so I don't know if it has made any difference there, but definitely worth a try. It's really thick so must be more filling! x

Thanks, George seems to love it too, never been a milky baby but he'll demolish this, so thats a good thing! Thanks again for replying x

Hi,
Perhaps try increasing her daily solid food intake? Milk may not be enough to sustain her at this point. And try mixing baby cereal into her bedtime bottle to make it a thicker so it will fill her up a little more. I never gave water to my son instead of milk at that age, because they grow so fast and need the nutrition.

My son has had this and he loves it! Not sure if it helps him sleeps as he sleeps through most nights anyway but he does love it. Hope it works hun x

i tryed it i cant say it did or didnt work really charlie just got full off half a bottle insted of the full bottle so i guess he was just having the same amount! once he's full he just spits out the bottle and goes to sleep so it makes no diffrence eather way to us but if u have a baby who'll just drink and drink untill the bottles gone its probably worth a try! - make sence? :-s

That is very dangerous advice to give out...there is a high risk of choking and it's highly discouraged by all health professionals. If you want to put your child at risk then so be it but don't advise others to do it:hissy:

Thanks for replys girls, George has loads of solids throughout the day and follow on milk too. Iagree Hevz, it can be dangerous putting cereal in a bottle so I wont be doing that. The good night milk seems to give me an extra hour or so sleep so I guess thats better than nothing! Thanks again xx

Are you all up to the stage of giving last bottle at 7pm ish or do you still give a last bottle later in the evening/night?

The reason I ask is that Gabbi has some solids at 5/6ish and still has a last bottle at 9.30/10pm as she isn't fully on solids. Is it worth giving this cereal at her solids meal at 6pm or is it more for when she is having her last meal before bed at 7? Does this make sense????

I have just bought Good Night Milk Pap oat and Apple, not sure if it will go down well yet, I'll let you know

George has solids about 5ish with some follow on milk then the good night milk at about 9 or as late as he'll hold out! Give it a go last thing in the evening it may keep her fuller during the night. Good luck xx

i'm thinking about trying the goodnight milk-as elliot is waking up earlier each morning-hungry! so far hes on two small meals a day, im going to go up to three in about a week once hes ready. but he was up at 4 30 today! thats just mad, so go to try something!!

I havent tried it yet.... but my friend said her LO refused it... so wasnt going to try it...!!

What is it meant to do?? What is the purpose of it?? xx
