Has anyone tried Vida or MyfitnessPal?

Hello,

I’m trying to lose about 15 pounds in the next 6 weeks. A friend recommended MyFitnessPal and Vida coaching, anyone tried these?
 
I've been using MyFitnessPal since 7 weeks postpartum and have lost almost 40 lbs. Very easy to use, lots of great info on the forums, and you can add friends or join groups for motivation. You can also tailor it to your goal, and it will tell you how many calories to eat per day. If you exercise you get even more calories to eat (if you follow MFP's recommendations). I love it!

However, unless you have a lot to lose, 2.5 lbs a week isn't realistic. You should see a nice drop the first week from water weight, but after that it will probably level out. Good luck! :flower:
 
After my LO was born I lost the baby weight - but still had extra weight I'd been carrying around for years... and figured, why not now? No more excuses right? I used the Loseit app- similar to MyFitnessPal. LOVE IT!

Also, since losing the weight, I can maintain easy cause I still track my calories/food/excercise. I cannot be left to my own devices- sadly. I tried to go off tracking for 3mos and gained back 6lbs?! So that was fun to lose, again... LOL. Now I just use it as part of my lifestyle change- and it helps me stay aware of what I eat (not just how much)-Plus- the more I work out the more I can eat ;) Win-Win for me! lol
 
I used to use myfitnesspal and it was brilliant! I got out of the habit of using it and have done properly for a while, however it is still really useful for checking calories etc x
 
My fitness pal is awesome. I lost 84lbs between sept 2013 and sept 2014 and am keeping it all off!

Not only does it educate you on how many calories are in foods, its also teaches you that portion control is really important when it comes to losing weight
