Has anyone had experience with taking a one year old on a 9 hour flight and to a different time zone (Florida - 5 hours behind)?

My 6 week old daughter is in a nice routine and my brother is getting married in Jan 2010 in Florida and wants us to go but I am worried about the flight and what the time difference might do to her body clock (she'll be one by then)... any advice, especially from experience, would be greatly appreciated.

Well my son was 10 weeks when we went from TX to the UK, and he didn't notice the time difference at all. I would suggest trying to get an evening flight there, that way he can just sleep on the plane and when you get there. The is what we have done, and it was fine.
