Has FOB ever changed his mind?

My OH/FOB is only 21 I am 22 he decided a few weeks ago "he didn't want to be a dad" and ran off. Although his parents have talked to me and they really want to be in the babies life. I know they want him to be as well but they think he needs help but won't get it he is very emotionally unstable not violent or anything but has been very unstable.

When he found out he was the total opposite wanted to be in the babies life alot wanted to be there for everything even wanted him/her to have his last name.

Has FOB ever changed his mind about seeing his child after leaving you while pregnant? or leaving his child? and if so how did you handle it?

As of now if he ever decides differently I plan on keeping the baby away from him at all costs.

my fob was absent for 7 weeks of Evie's life but as i already said last week he got back in contact and asked to see her so now has 1 day a week (his choice) of supervised access at my house which for now is all i would allow i don't trust him at all and is very awkward between us but giving him the benefit of the doubt for now if he blows it this time that's it no more chances

My FOB ran away from the start, and despite me hoping he'd change his mind, he never did. If anything, he's worse any time I need to contact him.

I'd prepare to do this without him. If he does come around, then great, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
