Has this happened to you?

I went to have my u/s yesterday to make sure my m/c has cleared and the technician girl told me that I have 4 antral follies (3 more than last feb) and to add to that, my lining was 9 mm thick. She said that's perfect...I have yet to look it up what thickness is good but I'll take it!

I'm wondering how I could have more antral follies, did the chlomid do it? Was it the DHEA? Have you ever had more antrals show up? Do you know what could cause more to show up? I was under the impression that once they're dead you're simply heading for menopause and infertility! Especially knowing that this happened to a gf of mine at the age of 30. It's really upset me when I first learned of my early ovarian depletion.

I was told that usually you do have several folicals and one usually makes it out the door...

with depletion i dont know...Ill ask next visit but you stats sound great so far

I'm really confused about antral follies vs the follicles that develop each month. The fs explained that each antral follie contains thousands of eggs that will develop from it so then what's the diff on the u/s? I was understanding that the antrals are not the developing monthly egg follicles, they are the sacs that contain them

well that is sure confusing..

i was told that we get several follies and one makes it to the finish line or two sometimes( twin)..

never quit heard what there telling you though....hopefully someone here has and can help
